Diego Álvarez
Director

Diego Álvarez

Diego is a family man who enjoys time being outdoors, reading and practicing sports.  He is a Spanish and Literature professor and has a masters degree in Central American culture and literature from the Costa Rican National University and a masters degree in teaching Spanish as a second language from the University of Costa Rica.  He shares his time as the academic director of ACCE and teaching literature at the University of Costa Rica.  He works in teaching Spanish as a second language since 1998 which has become one of his passions.
Alejandro Suárez
Alejandro is a work oriented person who loves to meet and deal with people.  Has a degree in tourism from the International Institute for Tourism and Management in Austria and a degree in Hospitality Management with a major in Food and Beverage Management from the Florida International University in USA.  Raised in a family with coffee growing tradition therefore a specialist in coffee production and roasting which nowadays is one of his hobbies.   Fluent in German and English, enabling him of great capabilities in his International coordination position at ACCE.  He is also the general manager of the ACCE and the Restaurant La Casa de Miguel in Grecia.

Fofo

Fofo, nick name for Rodolfo; works with Diego and Alejandro organizing and coordinating the touristic activities. He is an experienced tour guide, working with  people of different ages; in outdoors, adventures, natural history and more! He is always exploring; and checking gear, services and activities for new and fun destinations! He knows the country and its idiosyncrasy; and is always looking for the newest and best activities to offer. Working is always a passion, a gift and fun! And he always wants the clients to feel welcome; and inspire them for good memories!
Johanne Gervai

Johanne lives in Canada (Quebec), works at Terratours travel Agency and since 2005 works as an agent of ACCE in Canada.  Lived for many years in Grecia, Costa Rica developing volunteer projects and managing a Bed and Breakfast business.  Loves to travel and meet different cultures, specially from Latin America.

Ana Rinderer
USA – REPRESENTATIVE

Ana Rinderer

Ana is a family dedicated person, originally born and raised in Grecia, Costa Rica.  Moved to Arizona where now she is resides and became a certified yoga instructor about 16 years ago.  Yoga has become one of her many passions and nowadays she teaches profesional baseball teams while at spring training in Arizona; she also teaches at a local yoga studio, Joyful Yoga. Her love for yoga and deep roots in Costa Rica has encouraged her to create yoga retreats in Costa Rica year round and so fulfill her passion and visit her beloved country.  When she is not teaching yoga she loves to paddle boat or volunteer at a local food bank.  She has been involved with the ACCE since the school was created and therefore has a great knowledge not only about the school but also about the town of Grecia and the rest of the country.
