Program Objective
The real reason to offer this second part of the Spanish Program
for Social Workers is to see you again! Many of the students who
had assisted to our Social Work program part I have encouraged
us to create this new option, not only to expand the Spanish, Culture
and Social Work knowledge obtained in the first part but also for
meeting new people with similar ideas and needs. And of course,
to visit other beautiful places of Costa Rica!
Program Goals
| |
- To improve attendees’ language skills (levels may
range from low beginning through high advanced).
- To give attendees the opportunity to live with host families
and to enhance cultural understanding.
- To provide attendees with information about the social
work career, organizations and approaches used in Costa
Rica.
- To give attendees the opportunity to experience two days
of volunteer work in a Social Work agency.
